NRHA Germany Breeders Futurity 2021 – The Event for Reining-Youngster

After a jam-packed reining summer with three high-profile NRHA Germany shows, NRHA Germany's two major events are just around the corner. The NRHA Germany Breeders Derby, which will be held Sept. 30-Oct. 09, and the subsequent NRHA Germany Breeders Futurity. The Breeders Futurity will be held from October 19 to 23 in Kreuth, Upper Palatinate. Absolute top performances are expected from top-class participants from Germany and abroad, who will compete with their three- and four-year-old horses for attractive prize money and the coveted Futurity Champion titles. This year, riders can look forward to up to 109,000 euros in prize money.

The Breeders Futurity 2021 will not only once again be the venue for spectacular reining top sport, but also a premiere, because this year, for the first time, no Ancillary classes will be held at the Breeders Futurity. The NRHA Germany Board of Directors, together with the Active Committee, agreed to streamline the Breeders Futurity show schedule. The call for a shortening of the schedule came from the membership, as the high profile European reining shows are very tightly scheduled in the second half of the year. This is to minimize the, stress associated with a show stay, for both horse and rider. In addition, additional training classes can thus be offered to the participants.

The number of Ancillary classes advertised throughout the year will in no way be reduced as a result. NRHA Germany took care of equivalent replacements within other NRHA Germany shows, such as the NRHA Germany Reining Masters, the NRHA Germany Hot Summer Show and the NRHA Germany Summer Slide, which were held during the past six weeks.

This year's Breeders Futurity kicks off Tuesday, Oct. 19, with pre-prep classes. The impressive finals of the three- and four-year-olds will be held on Friday and Saturday. Spectators with 3G proof (plus registration at the registration office) are allowed on all show days. On the two final days, registration at the registration office is not required, but online registration must be completed in advance.
